I've just had the most perfect weekend, at the first Sarah's Cards retreat in Warrington. I met some of the loveliest people i have ever had the pleasure to meet. I chatted with them, laughed with them, and even cried (just a little). I think i drank too much water as it was leaking from my eyes. lol
These two beautiful ladies, Sarah (right) & Lianne (left) were responsible for the whole event and have been working hard planning it for almost a year, they thought of absolutely everything, and their attention to detail was beyond amazing. I feel so honoured to be part of Sarah's design team, they are all such a great bunch of ladies, i love everyone of them to bits.
The classes were fantastic and class kits were huge, and included far more than needed to complete the class. Everyone received a very generous goodie bag too. I think i can safely say it was a roaring success, and i'm sure it won't be last one, (please Sarah).I assisted the mega talent Rachael in her class, she was an amazing teacher and you'd have never have guessed it was her first time teaching. We also room shared and had lovely chats into the wee hours, i really missed that last night. :(
There was an extensive shop and i couldn't resist a little retail therapy, a few Martha Stewart punches were calling my name so i had to bring them home, call them an early birthday pressie for next month.
I was so sad when it was all over, but i will have very happy memories forever.
I even did a little scrapbooking, something i haven't done for a while, i will share what i did when i have taken the photo's.
