Love Birds

It's the last day of term here, and i just can't believe how fast the academic year has flown. I just hope we have some good weather for the next six weeks, so we can get on the beach.
Anyway here's my Squiggle Stamps project for this week,  i just adore this image designed by Carol Bateup.
Love Birds is available in rubber here, and as a digi stamp here.
Again i have used this months prize challenge requirements of scallops, stitches and swirls.
There's still time to enter and be in with the chance of winning a £20 Squiggle Stamps gift voucher.

Passion for Promarkers challenge #61

This week the theme over on PfP, chosen by Michele, is 'distressing'.
I used my Heidi Swapp edge distresser to roughen up the edges of all the papers and also used  a Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad -Tea Dye on the edges, along with stippling some around the image with a small paint brush. The papers are  Basic Grey - Skate Shoppe, i'm ashamed to say that they have been stuck in a cupboard in my craftroom for a very long time, years even.
The image i have used is  Rolling Ollie by Papilio Stamps.

This weeks sponsor is JustTracy's, who have kindly donated the prize of a set of clear stamps from the Buzzcraft Oliver's Orchard range of stamps.

The papers i've  used are all by Echo Park Paper, A Walk in the Park range.

I have again used the three elements, Scallops,Stitches and Swirls that are required for this months prize challenge, set by Lou.

"Kickin' it for Michelle" card drive & Passion for Promarkers #60

This weeks challenge over at PfP has been set by Julie, and her chosen theme is  'Animals'.

For my DT sample this week i decided, (as did a few of the other PfP DT members), to use the free donkey image and sentiment from Whimsy Stamps and join in the card drive over on A Spoon Full Of Sugar to help raise awareness and send some 'Donkey Smiles' to Michelle Oatman, who has recently had a terrible accident which resulted in the loss of one of her eyes.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp, who have kindly donated the prize of a $10 gift voucher to spend in their online store.

The challenge over on the Squiggles and Giggles blog this month is set by Lou. She always produces the most fabulous cards and her style is totally unique. For her challenge she would like to see you include her 3 favorite things, which are scallops, stitches and swirls on your entries, along with a Squiggles stamp or digi  image of course.
For my Squiggles project this week i have made card including those three elements to hopefully inspire you to enter, and be in with the chance to win this fabulous prize..........

Looks like this week Jenny and i are on the same wave length, as we have both used Miss Evie Flowers - digital stamp.

Card for a challenge

I very rarely get the chance to enter any card challenges, but  today i had a little time on my hands, so thought i'd have ago, and made this card using Mo Manning's Summer Fairy image. I'm not sure what the proper name is for this type of card fold, but thanks goes to my fellow Squiggle Stamps DT member Jenny, who made a similar style card the other week. The papers are all from the one of the new Echo Park paper ranges, Sweet Summertime.
So i'm entering this card into the Sir Stampalot monthly challenge, hoping it fits into their theme of 'Lazy Hazy Days of Summer'.

Passion for Promarkers challenge #59

Another week has flown by and it's time for another PfP challenge. This weeks theme has been chosen by Emma and she wants you to 'give us a  laugh', so dig out all your humorous images and give us a giggle.
My DT card isn't as funny as the other DT members cards, they have all made some right crackers, but this image by Mo Manning always makes me smile. The sentiment is a freebie from TLC Creations. I got the idea to use this sentiment with this image from the card on the TLC creations blog, i think it's a match made in heaven.

This weeks sponsor is The Craft Garden , who have kindly donated the prize of a £10 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

Flower Field

This week for my Squiggle Stamps project i have used one of the new Orange Bird Studio designs, 'Flower Field' by Carol Bateup, which is available here as a digi for instant download, with the rubber version is to follow soon.

I have made this very simple notecard set with a matching box. As it's a digi image i was able to print it larger to fit on the box, and also add the lettering before printing.
