Passion for Promarkers challenge #58

Well another week has just flown by and i looks like summer has finally made and appearance at last.
This weeks PfP challenge, set by Denise is 'Think of a Number'. I found the perfect image for my Nieces 13th birthday card, the VW van is a digi freebie from Birds cards, and as she's mad on VW i'm sure she'll love it.
The van doesn't come with the flowers on, and i wanted to make it look like a hippie van, so i printed the image twice then masked off the area i didn't want flowered and stamped the flowers on using  my Imaginisce Snag 'em Clear Stamp - Lucy Bird - Flower Swirls. I also stamped flowers on the numbers after i had coloured them with my Sunflower  Promarker.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Sugar Nellie, who have kindly donated this weeks prize, which is the winners choice of 3 of their fabulous stamps.

Celebrate the everyday with a cupcake!

Here's the little Squiggle Stamps project i was going to share with you last week, before Miss Evie stole the show.

But i do still love Daisy , especially when she comes with a Cupcake! You can purchase this adorable image here as a digi stamp, or here if you prefer rubber.

Here she is looking rather snazzy in her cupcake chef outfit, on the cute cupcake box i cut on my Cricut.

Don't forget if you would like to be in with the chance to join the Squiggle Stamps design team, you still have few days left to enter this months challenge!

Sarah's Cards June kit

The latest kit from Sarah's cards, which this month features the gorgeous Pebbles - Treehouse collection, is now being delivered to all the subscribers homes. I loved this kit, as there were lots of elements that could be cut from the papers to use as embellishments. Here's just a small selection of the cards i made with it.

Don't forget to enter this months layout sketch challenge over on the Sarah's Cards blog.

PfP challenge #57

The theme for this weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge chosen Debs by is 'Your favorite Things'.
One of my favorite things is cake, so i used this fab Newton's  Law Bear colouring page image on my DT sample card.
The words on the image read......
less is more
(e.g. the less bears there are
- the more cake there is).

The ticket sentiment is from the very generous Caz.

This weeks sponsor is the Secret Crafter who have kindly donated this weeks prize of 6 Promarkers.

Pretty bunting

I just can't get enough of bunting at the moment, and it seems to be hanging up everywhere  right now, mostly the  red and white variety for some strange reason. :)
Tonight we are off to a 40th birthday party, (which  until yesterday i'd forgotten about), so i quickly rustled up this simple card this morning, based on the one i made for my Sister in May, and of course features bunting too.

A few weeks ago dotcomgiftshop emailed me to ask if it was OK for them to add my blog to their top 50 craft blogs list, of course i agreed, then this week they emailed again to ask if i would review some of the bunting, maybe they had seen a few of my cards with bunting on. I said i would delighted to, thinking they would just send a small sample, that i could maybe play around with a incorporate into my paper crafting in some way, how wrong i was.
This is what i actually received in the mail today .
It's the whole 8 metres of fabulous Vintage Union Jack Bunting, i can't wait until the sun comes out, so i can hang it in the garden at the next BBQ. It's just so gorgeous, i just can't bare to use it for anything else other than what it's intended for, and i'm sure it will feature at many parties in the future.

Meet Miss Evie

Good morning peeps.
You can probably tell i'm excited as i don't normally blog before the school run, but i couldn't wait to introduce you to this new character from Squiggle Stamps.
I had my Squiggle Stamps project all ready  for this weeks post but then Tracy (Squiggles Momma) emailed us all the two new Miss Evie images, and it was love at first sight, so i'll save my other project for another time, as i couldn't wait to get her coloured and popped on a card. I think she is my new favorite Squiggles character, (sorry Daisy).

This version of Miss Evie is Patches, and she is available here as an instant download digital stamp. I'm sure she will be available in rubber soon.

40

I was recently asked by a lady who attends my crop if i would make her a card to give to her Sister for her 40th birthday, she asked for purple and lemon, so this is what i came up with. When i gave it to her yesterday, she said she loved it and said it was so her Sister, so hopefully she will love it too.

I would like to enter this card into the Sir Stampalot Challenge, the theme this month is 'Punch It'. They would like to see punches used on your creations. I have used MS Butterfly, Nellie Snellen flower and Woodware grass 1.

Ahoy Matey! and DT calls.

Wow is it really Thursday already?
Today i have a circular easel card to share with you. I've used one of the newly released Lilliput images from Squiggle Stamps, he's called Pirate Boy, isn't he the cutest Pirate you ever saw? He's available here as digi, or here as rubber. If you want to see a really bad joke check out the Squiggles blog here.

The sentiment i have used and the swords are from an oldie but goodie set called Ahoy Matey Printable Stamp set from The Cutting Cafe'.

Both Squiggle Stamps and The Cutting Cafe' have a DT call on right now, so if your interested in joining either team, go check them out.
