For my DT sample i've embossed a piece of white card using the Roses Cuttlebug folder, then coloured the embossed roses. Then i created a gingham effect mat using Dusky Rose by drawing lines with the chisel tip, first in one direction, then the other, you then get a darker colour where the two lines cross. I really liked the result, so will definitely be using that method again. I also made the rose with card embossed with the Swiss Dot folder, and coloured the dots too.
The image i've used is Willow with flowers by Whiff of Joy.

Have to say that's pretty deadly. Haven't seen that rose folder must look out for it, the effect is really cool. I thought you'd used liquid pearls but that didn't make sense for the challenge. Wolly! The gingham is brilliant will also be trying that out.
