I made this set of mini note cards (they are just under 4" x 4"), and a file to keep them in with this months Sarahscards cardmaking kit. The butterflies are cut on my Cricut from Home Accents cart. To answer Sam and Julie, yes this butterfly is Utee'd, atleast three coats if i remember rightly.

First of three
With three birthday cards to make for family members birthdays next month, i thought i'd better make a start. So i started with the hardest one for me to make. This is for my Niece who will be 12 on the 17th. She's never been a girlie girl, but is starting to get a little bit more girlie as she's getting older, but she's still definitely not a pink and fluffy sort of girl, so i hope this will be acceptable to her.
I cut the skull and crossbones, (which spins from side to side), on my Cricut from Paper Dolls Dress up cart, and the name was cut from Storybook.

PFP challenge week 9
This weeks challenge colours are Rose Pink and Lime Green, i love these colours together, i've really missed taking part in the PfP challenges whilst i was away, did i mention i'd been away? lol
The I LOVE SUMMER word circle is one of the 99 cent specials over at The Cutting Cafe' and i thought it went perfectly with this CC Designs digi Sugarplums stamp.

Easing my way back.
I always find it hard to get back into crafting again after being away, so i'm easing my way back into it gently, and what better way than to use one of the gorgeous Social Butterfly printable stamps from The Cutting Cafe'. I opened this image in Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10 and coloured the butterflies in digitally, i then printed it twice and handcut all the leaves and the largest butterfly from one copy, curled them over my scissors then stuck them to the main image.
Regina is such a generous lady and for a limited time she is giving away a set of printable stamps called I HAVE FAITH IN YOU absolutley FREE! Click HERE to find out more.

I'm back!
Did you miss me?, no? i thought not. lol
Well if you did wonder where i was, I've been on a 2 week summer holiday in Turkey visiting my Brother and his family, who live there and we just got back today. I'm feeling very tired after a very early morning flight (3.20am), but thought i'd just pop on and explain why i haven't been blogging for a while.
I'll leave you with this card which i made before i left using the latest card kit from Sarahscards.

The Next Level - issue 6
It's time again for the weekly challenge over on TNL, this weeks theme is buttons & bows. The DT have outdone themselves on this one.
Here's my take on the challenge. I only included one button and one bow, so i hope it counts.
The sentiment is another one of the Happy Birthday 40 Different Ways from The Cutting Cafe'.
The Spellbinder butterfly is suspended in the aperture using a piece of clear fishing line.

The Next Level - issue 5
It's another fantastic issue of The Next Level this week. This weeks challenge is sketch based, and again the design team have made some stunning samples. I'm really not happy with my finished card, i'm actually a little embarrassed showing it, i think i over did the gold embossing powder for a start, but i don't have the time to make another one, so here it is.
Just one more thing, i'd like to wish all my blogging friends in the USA, a very happy 4th July, hope you have a great weekend!!!!

Here's one i made earlier
I almost forgot to show my final Craftytemplates DT card for June. I coloured this cute Giraffe image digitally using Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10. I've never tried digi colouring before, but i really liked the effect and will do it again for sure.
I've had to take this month off making samples for CT, as i have a holiday coming up soon, and i'm a bit strapped for time, but the July card kit (pictured below) is on sale now, and it looks fab as usual. (I'm rather gutted i never got to work with it).

PfP challenge #6
OMG i can't believe it's July already, how did the other six months of this year pass by me?
This weeks PfP challenge colours are Moss & Poppy, and as an extra twist, you also have to include something tasty. The design team have done it again and produced some gorgeous samples.
The i used image is a digital stamp from Pollycraftdesigns, and the sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe'.
