Cupcake holder

Here's a cupcake box that's now available to purchase as a template from The Cutting Cafe'. You can use these templates as a PDF file and cut them by hand, as i did, or they can also be used as wpc files with your cutting machine, i.e. Pazzles or Cricut (with SCAL). If you love to make boxes and bags, Regina has a special offer on until Sunday.

As i'm trying to loose a few pounds, (who am i trying to kid?, i need to loose lots of pounds), i made the cupcake from a pair of first size baby socks. I thought this would be cute to give instead of a card. The circle frame was cut on my Expression using the new Home Decor cart.

Still creating

I'm still busy creating but it's all stuff i can't share yet, but here's a couple of cards i can share with you that i made using the December cardmaking kit from Sarahscards. There are still a few of these kits available for purchase without subbing, so if you want to give the kits a try before subbing you can.

Another Craftytemplate card

This is the third and final card i made with this months Craftytemplates kit and the cute little dress template. I threaded the lush pearl beads (that come in the 'Audrey' crafty goodies kit) onto a piece of very thin wire, so they looked like a necklace.

Gift card

Here's another card i made with the yummy Goodies kit and templates that Leo at Craftytemplates sent me.

This card is not only shaped like gifts, but the largest gift is a flap, and underneath that flap hides a little pocket to slip a gift card into, neat huh?

A bit of Craftyness,

no, that should be Craftytemplates(ness).
This months Crafty Goodies kit is called 'Audrey' and is available for order now, it features some gorgeous Jenni Bowlin Designs papers and some really cute embellishments. This kit is ideal for making Valentines cards or just pretty girlie cards and it compliments this months templates perfectly.

Here is just one of the cards i made with the kit and templates Leo sent me.

My first Cutting Cafe' project and an award

Here is my first DT project for The Cutting Cafe', i used the PDF version of the Heart Bag file, it's as easy as this..... print out the template using your printer, cut out with your scissors, score, assemble and then embellish. I also used the Big Holiday Words (Valentine) and one of the Valentine Circle Words printable stamps.

I'd also like to say a huge thank you to all the other Cafe' DT members for all your lovely welcome messages.

I have received this really pretty award from a very talented online friend of mine, Michelle, thank you, you are so kind. Although i really love to get these awards, by the time they get to me, most of my favorite bloggers have already received them, i am meant to send it onto seven fellow bloggers, but i really haven't the time to do that right now, so if you haven't yet received it, please feel free to snag from here.

So busy...

and getting busier.
I had the most unexpected email from Regina Easter last night, she asked me to join her design team for The Cutting Cafe, i was so honoured and quite overwhelmed that she asked me, and after thinking about it for all of five minutes i said yes! Regina already has an amazing team, you must go and check out some of their work and Regina's fabulous printable stamp sets and cutting files.

An award

I have just received this award from the very talented Nancy, thanks Hun.
The rules are to List 5 addictions and List 5 of your favorite bloggers, it's just so hard to choose, i have soooo many favorite bloggers, and way too many addictions....
My 5 addictions are:
1.Paper crafting, i'm never happier than when i playing with paper, glue, ink and of course my Cricut Expression.
2.It's gotta be crisps, any flavour except Smoky bacon, but if there's no other flavour available i'll even eat them.
3.The internet, if i can't get online for a couple of days i get serious withdrawal.
4.Coffee, i can't speak (only grunt) until i've had my first sip of coffee in the morning.
5.Buying stash, i have a room full of stuff, but still keep buying more, i just love pretty paper, and cardstock!

Now for five of my fav bloggers..... these are five bloggers that have given me so much support and encouragement with my card making, thank you, i love yer all.

Happy New Year!!!!!

I'm really not sure what happened to 2008, it's just gone so fast. I'm quite glad the holidays are over and Hubby has gone back to work today, this means i get to play in my craftroom in peace again.

I've made this card for my Nephew who turns 3 on the 10th Jan. I made the base using the design studio and Street Sign cart, Tigger is cut from Pooh & Friends and the Happy Birthday is from Zooballoo.
