Another preview

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. This card uses another one of the new digi stamps coming to Squiggle Stamps March 1st.
The sentiment is part of an oldie but goodie set Sentiments stems and flower tops printable stamps set from The Cutting Cafe', which luckily i had already printed onto Safmat, as i lost that file when my laptop died last year.
I'm just loving my new Nellie Snellen flower punch set (which embosses too), so expect to see it featured lots on my cards. :)
Don't forget you have until midnight 28th February to enter this months Squiggle Stamps prize challenge, there are only 8 entries as i type, so the odds of winning are great!!!

Passion for Promarkers challenge #40

I'm so excited as it's my week to choose the colours and theme for this weeks PfP challenge. I'm also sad, as it's  my last week as  guest design team member, i have really enjoyed being part of the team and i'm sorry this month is over.
Anyway on to my challenge, i chose the colours Tulip Yellow and Baby Pink and the added extra of stitching, which can  be hand, machine or faux.
Here's my card,  i have used  C.C. Designs Sugarplums Party Emma Digi Image.
I'm so looking forward to seeing some fabulous entries and choosing my top five Passionistas.

This weeks sponsors are Craftobsessions and here's the fabulous prize they have kindly donated.

Easter basket

I thought last weeks half term would never come to an end , but thankfully it did, and the boys have gone back to school today and that means i get back into my craftroom with no interruptions.

Regina has released some fabulous stuff over at The Cutting Cafe' in the last week, and i just couldn't wait to cut this cute little Easter basket shaped card.  I cut it all on my Cricut Expression using the Make the Cut software.
The sentiment is from another Easter file called Easter set 2.

Digital stamp colouring

Another great thing about digital images are that not only can you have it instantly and re-size it, you can also colour it in on your PC or laptop using you photo editing programme before printing it out, as i have here.
I used Mircosoft Digital Image Pro 10 and by using the little magic wand tool, i was able to select and colour all the different areas of the image. This image is Chatty Girl digital download from Squiggle Stamps and the sentiment is from the All Occasion Circle Word set 3 printable stamp set, from The Cutting Cafe'.

A New Home

I made a few of these free standing pop up cards about 18 months ago, so thought it was time to give them a go again, however they have become rather addictive, and i have made three in the past week.
This one is using the Home Sweet Home digital stamp from Squiggle Stamps, did you know that most of the Squiggles Stamps designs are now available as digi downloads?, so now you can have your images instantly, with no more waiting on the postman. Of course if you're into rubber you can still get the images that way too. I really like how you can re-size digi's to any size you want.

I came across the perfect challenge  to enter this card into here, sponsored by Sir Stampalot, who have just moved into new premises in Peterborough, and the theme is moving.

Guest designer!

guest designer

I was so chuffed when i was invited to be one of the guest designer members over at Passion for Promarkers this month, along with the other GDT Emma. I feel so honoured to be in the company of such a talented bunch of crafters, thanks for inviting me ladies.
For this weeks challenge set by Sarah, you can use any colours of Promarkers you wish on your project , but you must go with the theme of 'All creatures great and small'.
Here's my card for this weeks challenge, the image i used is from the Penny Black Party Critters stamp set. The frame, paper strips and chipboard are all from a bargain scrapbooking kit find in Poundland last year (wish i had bought more).

This weeks prize is a pack of 5 Promarkers from Letraset.
