Happy Anniversary

I originally set out to make an anniversary card for my hubby, but it turned out a bit too girlie, so i'm gonna send this one to my Sister and her hubby who celebrate their wedding anniversary on exactly the same day as us, ( we had a double wedding in Cyprus).

The circle calendar is part of the 2009 printable calendar stamp set from The Cutting Cafe' and the sentiment is one of the 'Extras' stamps from the blank calendar set.

I made this card with the yummy kit sent to me by Sarah of Sarahcards.
I made the sentiment in word on the PC.

Trying to get ahead

Our Son will be a teenager in April, so i thought i'd try to get ahead and make his card. I struggle so much with male cards, i'm not sure this is the one he'll receive because i'm not over impressed with it, and i still have time to try and come up with a better one.

Happy Birthday sweet 16

My Niece will be celebrating her 16th birthday in May, so i've just made her this card. The base is from Wild Card, the numbers are cut from Alphalicious and sweet is from Graphically Speaking. I still need to make a nice box for it, but i've loads of time for that.

Now i can't stop singing the song by Neil Sedaka, you know the one, "Tra la-la-la-la la-la-la-la Happy birthday sweet sixteen", got you all singing now haven't i?

Wedding card

I've been asked by a friend if i would make a wedding card for her to give to her Brother and his new wife, i've emailed her the picture already and she says she loves it, so that good news. You can't really tell by the photo, but it's all glittery, and looks much nicer in real life. I've also made a matching box for it, as the card is an odd shape and quite lumpy, and i think it makes it more special too.

St Patrick's Day card

Regina has done it again, she has come up with a fantastic set for all your St Patrick's Day projects. Here i have only used three of the St Patrick's Day printable stamps , but there's so much more in the set too.

I purchased the Alice Anya digital stamp a while ago from The Greeting Farm but hadn't yet used her, so i coloured her in the colours of the Irish flag using my Promarkers and used her on this card.

It's a boy!

No i haven't had a baby, but our fostering support worker has given birth this week to a beautiful baby boy, two weeks early!

So i just made this card for her and her husband. It matches the baby scrapbook i made them as a gift a while ago. I used the design studio and welded the words onto the top right of a circle, then cut the circle in half, so it left me with a semi circle, which i then folded in half, ( if anyone knows of a cart that has a semi circle on please let me know, as i couldn't find one).

Cupcakes anyone?

This Greeting Card Folder is the latest release over at The Cutting Cafe', it is designed to hold four embellished A6/quarter fold size cards and envelopes.

For the set of cards inside i used the cupcake printable stamps and circle sentiments from the All about cupcakes set.

I'm still here.....

i've just been busy behind the scenes with DT work that i can't share with you just yet.
But here's a peek of a card i've made using the cute little Geisha Anya, which is a digital stamp from The Greeting Farm. Hopefully i will have something a bit more exciting to share with you real soon.

Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' always comes up with the cutest printable stamps images & sentiments and this set is no exception.
The image & sentiment on this card is from the new set called Fruit Greetings and comes in several fruity varieties and is available to purchase here.

Another card for Sarahscards

Here's another card i made using this kit Sarahscards sent me to work with. For this card i cut the frame around the sentiment from paper in the kit and mounted it on tiny 3D foam pads.

Hugs & Kisses

The over sized topper on this card is made from Regina's 'Huge Heart Stamp' printable stamp/template, available from The Cutting Cafe', and the sentiment is from the Valentine circle words set. I printed the full heart with dots onto printable acetate, then the small inner heart out of patterned paper. I mounted the whole thing onto a DL size card blank with 3D foam pads.
