BOO!!!

Did that make you jump? I thought not.
This weeks challenge over on the Hallmarkscrapbook message board was set by Sharon, she wanted us to use the 'snaggle' tree from the PDDU cart. Here is what i came up with, it's a pop up card, as seen over on SCS. I love making these pop up cards, i can see myself making many more.
All the cuts are from PDDU, except the cross, which is from Indie Art and the letters, they are from Plantin Schoolbook.
I love making these free standing pop up cards, the instructions can be found here.

Sooo busy....

that's been me since i've come back from my holiday over a month ago. I have had several deadlines to meet, now don't get me wrong i love doing my design team work, but i got so behind the deadlines were all looming at the same time.

I was so excited to be asked to guest on It's a Creative World too, and my piece should be posted on the blog Sept 17th.(scary)

I was also delighted to be asked by Sarah to do some guest designer work for Sarahscards, i love Sarah's cardmaking kits and managed to make 13 cards with the gorgeous kit she sent me,so watch this space soon.

I set the weekly challenge over on the Hallmarkscrapbook message board a few weeks ago, it was due the 1st Sept, but i have only just managed to do it myself, it's nothing special, as i rushed it, but here it is anyway.

Hey Nikki, look!!!,i've used some of those gorgeous flowers you so very very kindly sent me.:)

Here's my final card made for Craftytemplates this month. This started off as going be a cutie skull card, but somehow it turned out grungy, now how did that happen?

Funny-4-legs....

...is this little guys name. He is one of the new Embellishy Buddies templates from Craftytemplates. I thought he'd look good on a spinner card,(i wish you could see him spinning along the front of the card), he's sure to raise a smile when he's received.

Almost Craftytemplates time

Two more days until the new Craftytemplates go out, this month Leo has produced some fabby mini templates, instead of shaped card templates, this months templates are drawings that are great to use as embellishments for either cards or scrapbook pages. You can print them out any size you want too.

To compliment the templates, Leo has also put together a mini Goodies kit called 'Fresh start', at a mini price! and it's available to order now.

Next month there is gonna be a bumper Christmas kit, and Leo has already put some sneaky peeks up on the CT blog, she has even had a fab stamp especially made for the kit too.

Here is one of the cards i made with the September mini kit and templates.

Ribbons

If you love ribbons, you could not do better than an online shopping spree at Ribbonoasis, they have the largest selection of ribbons i have ever seen and their service is second to none.
Bea puts together some gorgeous little collections too. Here are some of the things i made with the Baby Boy and Cafe Latte collections that Bea sent me.

41 years!

OMG, my parents celebrate 41 years of marriage tomorrow, and that's something to celebrate in this day and age i think. So last night i sat and created this quick card for them. I was really quite pleased with how it turned out, as it only took me an hour from start to finish, and believe me that is quick for me. I hope they like it.
