Chandelier card

Hope you are having a lovely weekend and recharging for the week ahead.
I made this card last night, it's for my friends daughter, who will be 14 years old on Wednesday, i hope she likes it, i'm so out of touch of what girls like at that age. The chandelier was cut on my Cricut from Home Decor cart, and the circular card base is from Wild Card cart.

One i made earlier

This is a replica of a card i made last year for my Niece. This one is for another one of my Niece's who lives in Turkey, she is skull crazy, so i hope she likes this spinning skull card.

The skull is cut on my Expression from PDDU cart, and spins around from side to side using a  3D foam pad and two pennies.

Here's another valentines card , this time i have used the new Valentine's Day Mini Background printable stamps from The Cutting Cafe'. I used the 'hearts' and the 'love'  background on this card. First, i printed out the red set onto kraft cardstock (the printables come in black too), then i cut out the couple holding hands from Going Places cart on my Cricut Expression. The sentiment is from the All about Valentine's Day printable stamp set.

It's Friday!!

I can't believe it's the weekend already and we're half way through January too. We are all waiting patiently here for my Niece to give birth to her first baby (which will make me a Great Aunt, oh that makes me feel old), he was due on the 12th of Jan, but being a typical male he's late! I can't blame him really it's been so cold and with all the snow we've had, it wouldn't have been nice to come out of the warm cosy place he is right now.

Anyway here's my last two projects for Craftytemplates.

The mini January sale is going on right now, so if you're quick, you could grab yourself a bargain kit for just £5 including postage, (UK only).

Craftytemplates and sad news

Here's just one of the cards i made using this months templates and the January cardmaking kit  from Craftytemplates. This months kit is called 'Lovely Letters' and is a yummy mix of red and kraft. Leo really packs her kits with gorgeousness, so hurry over here and bag yourself one before they sell out.

Now for the sad news, i have thought long and hard and it was a very hard decision, believe me, but i have decided to step down  from the Craftytemplates design team, i have enjoyed my time on the team and would like to wish Leo every success with Craftyteplates in the future.

Bring on the clowns!

Here's my latest Squiggles Stamps creation. I just love Oscar the clown, he was such fun to colour in. I must admit, i do have a soft spot for both Oscar and Daisy in all their different costumes, they are all just so cute.

New Squiggle Stamps

Lauren's Lilliputs are really quirky new stamps coming soon to Squiggle Stamps. I have had the pleasure of playing with some of these new images, and this one has to be my favorite one, these Little Inventors really remind my of my son when he was small, he was always making weird and wonderful inventions, usually from Lego or Knex.

Back in the swing of things

I can't believe i haven't so much as cut a piece of paper since before Christmas, but now the boys are back to school/work i can get stuck in and i have lots of catching up to do.
I've made nine cards in two days, eight of which i can't share just yet, but this one i can.
I am entering this card into the Passion for Promarkers challenge #33, this week you can use any colours, but it must have a love theme and use this sketch.

The papers i used are last years American Crafts Romance range which i forgot i had, the image is Henry Mouse Hugging Heart from Whiff of Joy Stamps, and the sentiment and 'hugs' strip are from The Cutting Cafe', Valentine Long Phrases and All About Valentine's Day printable stamp sets.

Happy New Year!!!!!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and a good New Years Eve. It's hard to believe another year is over and a new one has just begun. I really do think the years only last 6 months now, they go by so quickly. I wonder what this year will bring?

I'm so looking forward to getting together again with all the Sarah's Cards design team girls at the retreat in March.
I know Regina from The Cutting Cafe' will be producing  more of her fabulous printable stamps and templates to work with this year, and i can't wait to see with more fabulous stamp designs from Squiggle Stamps, i feel so blessed to part of all these design teams.

I haven't even been in my craft room since before Christmas, but have a couple of DT kits in there to work with, so maybe i'll venture in there later today.
For now i'll leave you with this Craftytemplates card i made using the December kit and templates. I am already in the possession of the January kit and it's lush.
